Credits and Thanks

I’m amazed at all the resources available to help build a website/blog. This page is dedicated to recognizing a few, with links to their websites.

Free Vector

Websites are enhanced by art, images, photos, icons. One source I used in creating this website is freevector.com. They provided the insurance agent icon. Click on the image to visit their website.

Free Icons

My Einstein figure on the home page came from clipartbest.com. They also provided the icons for my article “Characteristics of Insurable Risk“.  Click on the Einstein image to visit their website:

An amazing website is Pixabay.com. They provide top quality photos absolutely free of charge. As a sometime professional photographer, I’m awed by what they do. Several photos in this website an my other websites include photos from Pixabay. Click on the car to visit their amazing site.

Nitty Gritty

This website/blog is built in WordPress, an “open source software you can use to create a beautiful website, blog, or app“- as described in wordpress.org.

Websites are built on “themes” – kind of like templates that give a basic structure upon which designer can create a beautiful websites and blogs without doing fancy computer code (HTML). This site uses the pro version of GeneratePress.com.

Functionality of themes is enhanced by the use of  “plugins.” One class of plug-in is page builders. For this website we used the lite version of Elementor.com.
